SmellTaste Scotland Social Event
SmellTaste’s Scotland Hub is continuing with its food-themed social events, this time with a trip to La Ciociara in Stirling, for a wonderful Italian lunch on Saturday 16 September.
There were eight guests in total, and everyone appreciated the opportunity to meet with other people with smell and taste disorders. SmellTaste volunteer Julie Wilson, who organised the event, received some great feedback from people who came along:
“It’s been really interesting and educational to hear other people’s stories and it was a lovely day out.”
“As a ‘novice’ (I’ve had hyposmia for about six months), I found it really beneficial to chat to others with a similar condition and was able to put things into perspective a lot.”
If you’d be interested in attending a future event, you can contact Julie directly by email at Scotland@fifthsense.org.uk

We’re very pleased to announce that SmellTaste has recently welcomed a new trustee to the board. We sat down with Matt Jones to find out a little more about his background, what he’ll be bringing to the role and what he’s looking forward to in his first year with our organisation.
