Volunteer's Week 2026
Our amazing volunteers give so much time and effort to the charity. From raising awareness at public events, hosting peer-support groups, taking part in research studies …and so much more.
Without our volunteers we simply wouldn’t be able to do all that we do and reach so many people with our support.
Our sincere thanks to each and every SmellTaste Volunteer, you are all total stars!
One of our strengths as a charity is how we actively involve people in our work, whether by raising vital funds, volunteering to provide peer support or raise awareness in their own community, or taking part in research projects. We’re always looking for people who would like to help.
Â
If you are affected by a smell or taste disorder or have an interest in the senses of smell and taste, and you have skills and experience that you think may be of benefit to SmellTaste then we’d love to hear from you.
We have a variety of roles that range from taking a just few minutes of your time and are very flexible to roles that can be more regular offering structure to your week.Â
You could, for example, help share our social media posts to reach more people or distribute leaflets in your local area.
We can provide guidance and support to give presentations or talks to groups or be involved with local peer support groups.Â
We are also looking for volunteers to support us with our national and online offer; helping with our Let’s Talk Smell and Taste support groups or representing us at events and sharing your story.
Interested?
Please complete our SmellTaste volunteering form below to let us know about you and why you want to get involved. There’s no commitment at this stage. Our Community Development Officer, Natasha Hart, will be in touch to discuss opportunities that might suit you.Â
